San Juan province, touristic diversity and wine

San Juan is a province in the Cuyo area that has a lot of attractions, the capital city also called San Juna is modern and progressive, and holds plenty of interesting museums, cultural institutions, historic sites, wine cellars etc.
As you travel the province you will find different attractions, such as the baths of La Laja at the north of the province, with its therapeutic waters.
To the south is the Quebrada de la Flecha, a place of beautiful landscape and where you can find prehistoric cave paintings.
Barreal is another attraction in the province, from where you have impressive views of the Mercedario and Aconcagua hills.
In Calingasta we find a tourist town where apples and cider are produced. It is an interesting place for water sports and fishing as the dam Los Cauquenes is there.
Also found in Calingasta is El Alcazar, a true natural monument for its geological conformation. Within the province of San Juan we can find the Provincial Natural Park and National Reserve Ischigualasto, also known as Valle de la Luna, an impressive Paleontological site 25km long and 10 wide, where you can find remnants of Vertebrates as Rincosaurios, Dicinodontes and Tocodontes that inhabited the place more than 225,000,000 years ago.
The views that we have in Valle de la Luna are really impressive and it is worth exploring the place as it is possible to find traces of Saurs.
San Juan has an interesting diversity and it is a Touristic place to Know.
