Villa Carlos Paz, Villa General Belgrano and La Cumbrecita


Cordoba has many interesting touristic places to visit, among them you can find three places that are not to far from each other, but located in diferent departments, this towns are Villa Carlos Paz (the most important touristic center in Cordoba), Villa General Belgrano and La Cumbrecita.

Villa Carlos Paz

Villa Carlos Paz, better known as Carlos Paz, a city of Cordoba province, in the region of the Sierras of Cordoba. It is located in Punilla valley next to Lake San Roque. It is the largest touristic resort in the province.

Distinguished by its pleasant climate and attractive scenery, its numerous resorts invite you to enjoy the Mediterranean temperate days and to practice different water sports like windsurfing, sailing, motor jetsky and canoeing.

Carlos Paz also has a wide range of city tours, spas, campgrounds and different places of entertainment like cinemas, theaters, discos, nightclubs, amusement parks, golf courses, bars, casino, etc.. Supplemented this with a very good tourist infrastructure.








Villa General Belgrano

Villa General Belgrano is located in the department of Calamuchita, 90 km south of the provincial capital. It is located in the Calamuchita Valley, surrounded by mountains, 9 miles north of Santa Rosa de Calamuchita header. This is a small city with typical Bavarian architecture, most of its residents came from German and Swiss immigrants who made the place a reference architecture and tourism in the German tradition of Argentina.

In October, the city has the National Beer Festival, the "Oktoberfest" , in which the city receives thousands of visitors to taste beer craftsmanship.




La Cumbrecita

La Cumbrecita is a small picturesque village surrounded by a thick pine forest, streams and beautiful places, located 1450 meters high in the Valley of the Sierras Grandes Calamuchita. Located at the foot of the Great Mountains, near the Champaquí hill, the highest of Cordoba, is aproximately 40 km west of Villa General Belgrano and 118 of the city of Cordoba. The access road is established (currently being surfaced) and rises over 600 meters from Villa General Belgrano, crosses the Reartes river and through the Atos Pampa sites , Intiyaco and Villa Berna, of remarkable beauty, belonging to the department Calamuchita .
Populated by inmigrants from central Europe, the town is a ecotourism jewel, completely pedestrian and reminiscent of small German towns of the fifteenth century. The houses are built in the style of the Alps; at its tea houses you can taste the delicious typical European pastries. La Cumbrecita has a good tourism infrastructure for visitors in hotels and alpine type inns, cabins and campsites.

You can also visit Mineralis museum, exhibiting the world's gems and minerals.
