Resistencia, the city of Sculptures




Resistencia is the capital of the province of Chaco, located at the north-eastern Argentina. Resistancia´s weather is subtropical with no dry season, with temperatures ranging between 21 and 33 degrees Celsius in summer, while winter is mild and benign, with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 22 º C. Rainfall is abundant and are present throughout the year.



Resistencia is known as the "City of Sculptures" beacause it has more than a hundred figures outdoors. It combines excellent architectural structure of the early twentieth century with the exuberant nature, unique in the region.



From Resistencia, you can go on amusing tours or excursions like fishing in Paraná River, visiting San Fernando de Río Negro, Abipone, Indians Settlement, Villa Paranacito Resort and various museums.

Some of the places you can visit in Resistencia are:

* Plaza 25 de Mayo: Located in the heart of the city, covers an area of four squares, it is truly a natural botanical adorned with monuments, statues and large-scale sculptures.



* Iglesia Catedral: Inaugurated in 1898 and rebuilt in 1978, this church does not have a personal style but if you keep forms, proportions, volume, lines and harmonies of the set. Its foreheads are adorned by two sculptures in Carrara marble, called "Virgin Mary" and "San Fernando"


* Barrio Toba de Resistencia (Indian Settlement): Located in the Lot 215, on the grounds of the former railway from the street 12 to Route 11, now living among adults and children about 2000 Toba aborigens. They have a craft cooperative where they work in clay with straw and reeds , Typical of the place.
* Parque 2 de Febrero: located in the place that where occupied by the first Italian families arrived on February 2, 1878. A very nice Park situated on the banks of the Rio Negro.

* Reducción de Abipones San Fernando del Río Negro: A monolith that recalls the founding of this reduction, the first white population of the area that disappeared with the expulsion of the Jesuits of America.

Places to learn and Dance Tango in Buenos Aires



Buenos Aires is known for its beauty and also for the Tango, there are several places in Buenos Aires where you can learn or dance Tango is you already know how to dance. The places where you dance Tango are called "Milonga", the Milonga, is understood as a place where people dance tango and milonga indiscriminately, often placed in the living room of a club (in Argentina are widely popular clubs, social and sports) or anywhere else for that purpose


Some of the most known Milongas to dance and learn Tango in Buenos Aires are:

* Peña de tango Alma de Bohemio-A place where people over the age of 50 and who knows to dance well goes, its location in the neighborhood of La Boca also attracts tourists. Situated in Necochea street Nº 948. In this place you only can dance Tango, they don´t have Tango classes.

* Bien Porteño situated in Rivadavia 1392, they have Tango classes for all levels.

* Confitería Ideal: this club is in a historic building built in the early twentieth century, and it works almost daily with extended hours, this milonga is a classic in Buenos Aires. With a floor tile, home to an audience of all ages and nationalities. Situated in Suipacha 384

* Club Gricel. It is one of the more traditional milongas of Buenos Aires. On its wooden floor of pine tea 300 people dance each night. The living room looks like an old design that gives it atmosphere, and there are experienced milongueros. To view and if you are a good dancer, to encourage to the dance runway. Situated in La Rioja street nº1180.

* La Viruta Tango. Informal Milonga where young people, older people, Argentine and foreign milongueros dance all together, situated in Armenia street nº1366.

Comodoro Rivadavia


Comodoro Rivadavia is a city located on the San Jorge Gulf, Comodoro Rivadavia presents as a modern and vibrant city, where you can take a variety of hiking, stay in great hotels, eat in restaurants that offer a varied international menu.
This region offers the possibility to enjoy the sun and the beach of Rada Tilly, or meet with the widest range of coastal natural accidents in the coast of Argentina, to reach the beautiful "Bahia de Camarones", close to the Protected Areas is the amazing "Cabo Dos Bahias", with a significant amount of guanacos and a colony of Magellanic penguins in constant growth.
Rada Tilly is a small village near Comodoro Rivadavia that has all the charms of the typical Patagonian coast. In his four kilometers long, the beauty of the beach with firm soil of fine sand and gentle decline is evident. The Beach is characterized by clear waters, is wavered by the Hill Punta de Piedras and Punta del Marques, natural viewpoints to those amounts on winding roads that are revealing landscapes of incredible beauty. Between the towns of Caleta Olivia, to the south, and Rada Tilly, in the heart of the San Jorge Gulf, the National Route Nº 3 has its maximum closer to the sea on a stretch of 70 km, alternating sand and gravel beaches rich in bird life and history, with cliffs and plateaus that favor the visual domain from panoramic points in which belvederes fall.

The Davis Cup finals to be played in Mar del Plata




The finals of the Davis Cup will be played in Mar del Plata this year. The city has a strong infrastructure and hotel that was decisive in deciding which was the venue for the finals between Argentina and Spain.
A very nice city that besides allowing to enjoy its beaches and multiple activities this year will have a more attractive to enjoy.

Paraná



The city of Parana in the Entre Rios province, is a vibrant city center that hosts over 350,000 inhabitants.
The Paraná river, is very important in the life of Paraná, and is one of the greatest water courses in South America, and as such falls and contains the city, offering one of the most characteristic and beautiful postcards.
Parana is displayed on its streets and steep hills, that are generously decorated with trees. The old buildings, contrast harmoniously with modern residential buildings, offering an eclectic mix of architectural styles.
Among its atractions and activities that can be made in Parana you can find Golf, Fishing, Casinos, the Parana river and its beaches and during January and February the Carnavales.

Buenos Aires Neighborhoods: San Telmo


San Telmo is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Buenos Aires, until 1870 it was inhabited by the wealthiest families in the city.
The San Telmo neighborhood is one of the best preserved areas within Buenos Aires, and it is characterized by its colonial houses and streets, many of which are still paved with cobblestones. Among the many attractions that can be visited in San Telmo, there are many old churches (like that of "San Pedro Telmo"), museums, antique shops and a semi permanent antiques fair the "Feria de San Telmo" in the main square, Plaza Dorrego.
There are also activities related to tango and Candombe, both to local people as to the many tourists who visit the area.
During the weekends throughout the day, the Defensa street becomes a pedestrian mall where you can enjoy street artists, puppeteers, magicians and living statues.

San Martin de los Andes


San Martin de Los Andes is the most important city next to the "Parque Nacional Lanin" within the Province of Neuquen.
The city is situated in a valley that has an admired panorama from the access road to the city. A beautiful city surrounded by lakes, rivers, mountains and forests that joined to the architecture of the city makes San Martin de Los Andes a place of dreams.
From San Martin de Los Andes you have the posibility to make numerous trips to various places where you can see a beautiful nature, among them we can highlight the Lagos Lolog, Machonico and Hermoso and the Parque Diana. Also you can visit the people of the Mapuche indigenous community called Quila Quina. It is also to highlight that very close to San Martin de los Andes is the tourist and sports Cerro Catedral, a place where you can practice winter sports.
