Tango World cup held in Buenos Aires




The Tango world Cup, which had its presentation on Sunday, yesterday experienced its first day of qualifying rounds. And the Obras stadium Works, which has long had in recent sports and music shows became a huge dance floor.

There are offered concerts, dance classes and samples of works in process renowned choreographers: today at 19.30 will be Carlos Borquez.

Train to the Clouds a wonderfull journey in Salta



Called Train to the Clouds (Tren a las nubes), because by its very high altitudes, it is one of the more astonishing trains in the world, reaching the clouds, amounts to 4,200 meters high in a journey of 434 km (roundtrip). It is one of the three world's highest railway, which crosses the vertiginous mountains of Andes between spectacular landscapes. Part of the city of Salta, crosses the valley Lerma, to penetrate the Quebrada del Toro and reach the Puna.
Often clouds can be seen under bridges or on the slopes. The number of rules, viaducts, tunnels and other zigzags that runs the train is because the author of the project, the American engineer Richard Maury, took party taking into account the principle of adherence of the wheels on the train tracks and the laws of physics, discarding the mechanical system cog commonly used for training railway can climb the heights with solvency. It does not use gears, even for the most of the steep rise, because the tracks are prepared in a manner peculiar flowing through a system of spirals and zigzags.

The train station part of the General Belgrano, in the city of Salta, 1,187 meters above sea level, and ends at the viaduct. The province of Salta is located in the northwest of Argentina to 1600 km from Buenos Aires, with an estimated population of 1,100,000 inhabitants and a temperature ranging to 25 degrees centigrade. The city of Salta is 1187 meters above sea level in the Valle de Lerma, at the foot of Cerro San Bernardo. Its beautiful landscapes attract tourists from around the world

Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world




The city of Ushuaia is located 3070km of Buenos Aires, the best way to get there is by plane, but there are also cruise ships arriving in the summer (December to March). In this city there are many attractions besides the imposing view that the city has. It is a city where one can enjoy rides, hot springs, winter sports, museums, natural history and ice skating among many other things. Among the places to visit are the old prison, a jail that was closed in 1947, retaining even one of the flags as it existed at that time. In this place works now the Maritime Museum of Ushuaia, with a collection of ships at having to do with the history of the island since its discovery.
Another place to learn is the museum end of the world, where many collections on display linked to the city's history. One is the place to visit Tierra del Fuego national park, is located approximately 19km from Ushuaia and occupy 6300ha. It is a unique place with a view of cords mountain valleys and lakes. For lovers of winter sports centers have Ushuaia Ski and Snowboard, including the center Glacier Martial and the Cerro Castor, located 4km and 27km respectively of the city Ushuaia.
Finally to see the beautiful scenery offered Ushuaia can be a stroll in the southern rail fueguino.
